With the news that David Cameron has resigned his parliamentary seat of Witney, a by-election has been triggered. Liz Adams led a team of volunteers from Stratford down today to help the Lib Dem campaign.
The Liberal Democrats are the clear challengers in the seat, and although it has been historically safe Conservative, local people fed up over Conservative let downs over the NHS and those dismayed at Brexit and the Conservative lurch to the right, are now switching to back the Lib Dems in record numbers.
Liz said, "I had a great time today helping the Lib Dem team in Witney for a bit with a couple of #TeamStratford. More and more residents around the constituency are now backing the Liberal Democrats after being let down by the Conservatives.
"What a strong message we could send with a good Lib Dem performance here and the bookies have now slashed our odds on winning further to 8/1!!"
If you are a Lib Dem, fed up with the Conservatives or anti-hard Brexit, please help the campaign in any way you can!
