Stratford Lib Dems County Campaign Update!

Liz has been out and about talking to residents in Alcester on the final weekend of the County election campaign.

Liz said, "In Alcester, as in all our County Divisions, we have a local candidate with excellent credentials and a long record of action for local people. We are contesting every seat across the district, unlike Labour, and are providing a real opposition to the Conservatives.

"In South Warwickshire, elections are always between the Conservatives and the Lib Dems. Last time, in the 2013 County elections, wasted votes on the Labour candidate in Shipston meant that our hard-working candidate Richard Cheney lost to the Conservative by only just over 50 votes, yet Labour still came a very poor third.

"By voting Liberal Democrat, you will be sending a message to the Conservatives not to take our towns and villages here in South Warwickshire for granted, as well as electing a hard-working Lib Dem Councillor, who will be a strong voice for local people."
