Elizabeth Adams on Sunday Politics Midlands


Lib Dem Parliamentary Candidate for Stratford-on-Avon, Elizabeth Adams was live on BBC1 today on the Sunday Politics Midlands show as the Lib Dem panel guest.

The programme was broadcast from 11:15am and for a limited time can be accessed from the shows' BBC iplayer.

The panel discussed the economic recovery, HS2 and more.

In particular Elizabeth highlighted the increase in GDP figures, rising number of jobs and the promising signs that the economic plan is working and Lib Dems in government are ensuring fairness as the economy recovers.

She also raised concerns over Stratford's transport network and urged local politicians to push for government money for local infrastructure to go into improving roads to ease congestion and to invest in better connected rail services, including a link from Stratford-on-Avon to Birmingham International at the airport.
